Rapid advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) have created opportunities for bad actors to commit fraud against banks and their customers with alarming ease and speed. At the same time, banks can use AI to enhance their fraud prevention and AML/sanctions compliance programs. This presentation will provide an overview of current AI-generated threats and schemes, the developing regulatory expectations on banks to combat these schemes, and how banks can deploy AI tools themselves as part of their risk management program.
