This one-hour morning program presented by CBA Vice President and General Counsel Art Corey and Attorney Brendan Fox of The Law Offices of Jay F. Malcynsky, P.C., will provide an overview of the key limits and prohibitions applicable to contributions by bank directors, management, and employees to the campaigns of individuals who are running for state elective office. This interactive seminar will include an active discussion of the key laws and ethics opinions from the Connecticut State Elections Enforcement Commission. We will also consider the special rules that apply to banks that are state contractors, as most banks are. Finally, we will cover how banks can avoid the pitfalls associated with not having a campaign contribution policy that bank directors and management adhere to.
