OVERVIEW:
Data Management is critical to the operational excellence of the Business Intelligence team and the overall Bank. This individual will play a key role in data reporting, quality control, and business process improvement. The team member will not only be monitoring critical data components but will drive the importance of data integrity through error reporting, trending, and collaborative educational efforts. Additionally, the team member will provide support for business process updates and evolutions in support of the Bankwide Data Strategy.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs any functions necessary, within scope of authority and expertise, to support the Business Intelligence activities of the Bank and to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to employees and service providers.
Implements the Bank’s data quality strategy. Collaborative defines (and redefines on an ongoing basis) critical data components deemed critically important to delivering high quality data in support of business decisions and customer experience.
Monitors data quality, collaborating with bank teams to remediate; Identifies errors based on acceptable data standards and either corrects inputs or collaborates with department teams to guide remediation.
Tracks, trends, and reports on data quality metrics. Contributes to the development of educational and remediation sessions on data integrity.
Works collaboratively with department teams to identify opportunities for and develop/update process documentation in support of aligned data usage.
Supports the Data Architect with report writing using Crystal Reports.
Acts as the application administrator for the Bank’s data visualization tool. Spearheads the onboarding effort for future tools including Power BI.
Supports the Project Management Office (PMO) in testing launching new applications and providing representation on data-related projects and process improvements as needed.
Responsible for adhering to Bank policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements and guidelines.
Promotes the Bank’s products and services and maintains an active participation in community affairs.
Performs related and unrelated duties as may be required.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Associate’s Degree required. Management Information Systems (MIS) degree preferred. 5 years of relational data management experience. 2-3 years of experience working with banking or financial services related data strongly preferred. Experience with COCC and Insight is a plus. Familiarity with business process mapping and process improvement tools. Functional understanding of data reporting, including SQL. Proficient in Microsoft Suite of programs and able to become proficient in the use of a wide range of technologies, software applications and office equipment that may be used in the performance of responsibilities. Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Desire to learn and adaptability is required. Must interact with customers, colleagues, and vendors in a collaborative, positive, and professional manner.

INDEPENDENT ACTION:
Establishes plans and objectives within the scope of Bank strategies, policies, and procedures. Consults with division manager for clarification or exceptions.
COMPLIANCE:
Responsible for adhering to Bank policies and procedures relating to regulatory compliance requirements applicable to the job function including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering and Fair Lending.
